A statement from the Director of Puget Sound Guardians:
We believe, without a doubt; that Black lives matter. From the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others, to incidents within our own community, we know that discrimination is far from an issue of the past. Discrimination is still present across all industries, including our own. We vow to be a part of the change, to listen to the Black community and continue to educate ourselves to become better allies. We all have a responsibility to stand up in the face of injustice and say, “Black Lives Matter.”
We see you. We hear you. We stand with you.
